Shadows of Shadow Lawn: my first real project

It has been over 5 years since my first project with any kind of real recognition has been released to the public. I've decided to get nostalgic, and re-release it publicly on Vimeo. Shadows of Shadow Lawn is a documentary film that I produced with my friend, Tom Hanley during my final semester at Monmouth University. The film explores the history and supernatural legends of some of the buildings at Monmouth University in West Long Branch, NJ.

It earned national recognition in 2006 when it won First Place in the National Broadcasting Society Documentary. It was also selected to lead off the 2006 Two River Film Festival.

This was my first project. It is not perfect. It does not reflect the quality of my current work, I am proud of it on a sentimental level. It runs about an hour. If you have the time, watch it and let me know what you think.

Cameras used were a Panasonic AG-DVC80 and a Sony HVR-Z1U, and I edited it in Avid Express Pro.
